Margie’s path into gynaecology began in general practice. Working as a rural GP gave her a broad perspective on women’s health and a deep appreciation for the importance of clear communication in medicine.
This experience continues to shape the way she practices today, allowing her to approach gynaecological care with a whole-of-health perspective and a strong commitment to collaboration with referring doctors and a multidisciplinary team.

While she has a strong interest in pregnancy and reproductive health, she does not currently provide private obstetric care.
Providing obstetric care requires full availability throughout pregnancy and birth. As Margie continues to hold a role within the public hospital system, she has chosen to focus her private work on gynaecology to ensure every patient receives the attention and continuity of care they deserve.
She continues to support women through many aspects of reproductive health, including pre-pregnancy counselling and planning.
